Delmar Travel & Tours, Inc. was organized in February of 1978. Unlike most travel agencies, its head office is located in Cebu City, Philippines which geographically is centrally and ideally located between the islands of Luzon and Mindanao, making it a convenient travel hub both domestically and internationally. From the start of its operations, Delmar Travel focused on group tours to Hongkong and other Asean countries. As it gained experience in the field of travel, it branched out to organizing group tours to the United States and Canada.
It was in the early part of 1980, when Delmar Travel started to package and organize its own pilgrimage tours to the Holyland, the middle east and Europe. The first group tour to the Holyland and Europe was so successful that more pilgrimage tours followed in the years ahead. In the years that followed when cruising became an attractive way of travelling, Delmar Travel again took the lead by organizing groups to Alaska, the United States and Mexico, the Carribbean an d Mediterranean Cruises. Later, the company decided to specialize in PILGRIMAGE TOURS and CRUISES.
In July of 2007, Delmar Travel & Tours, Inc. was appointed as the General Sales Agent for the Philippines by Steps of Paul Coastal Cruises, a PILGRIMAGE CRUISESHIP that follows the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.
